Payment links

A payment link is a page on Inkress your customer pays on. Make one from your server and share it, or show the amount and let the customer pay.

Create a link

Call POST /api/v1/payment_links with a title, currency_code and total. The amount and currency are fixed once the link exists. expires_at closes the link, and data.available_from (ISO 8601 with an offset, like 2026-11-01T09:00:00-05:00) keeps it closed until then.

Payment links have no reference_id field. Put your own reference in data.reference_id (and in the title if you match on the flat webhook fields).

Share it

The customer pays at https://inkress.com/p/<uid>, using the uid in the response. When they pay, Inkress creates an order and sends orders.paid like any other order.

Close a link

Set expires_at to now with PUT /api/v1/payment_links/:id. An expired link can't be paid. Links that took payments stay on record; apps can't delete them.
