Going live

When your integration works in test mode, switch to live keys. Check these first.

Before you switch

• The business taking payments has finished identity verification. Inkress requires it before any live payment, payment links included.
• Your server checks every webhook's signature and acts on orders.paid, not on the customer's return to your site.
• Your reference_ids are unique, so you can match every order and webhook to your own records.
• Your code handles a declined payment and an order that stays pending.

Switch

• Use your sk_live_ key and the live base URL, https://api.inkress.com/api/v1. With the Node SDK, use mode: "live".
• Add your live webhook endpoints. Test and live endpoints and secrets are separate.
• Keep live keys in your server's secret store, never in code or a browser.
